JR 168 VoIP Phone Configuration Guide Print E-mail

JR168 has 2 ports at the back (WAN, LAN).
WAN – is he port used to connect the VOIP Phone to the Internet.
LAN – is the port used to connect other PC’s and notebook, and will serve as your DHCP server. VOIP phone will also serve as your gateway in case your connected to it’s LAN port.

Note: If you don’t have a hub and you need to connect the PC network cable to the VOIP LAN port.

Below is a setup showing how the JR168 can be connected in two ways.

Getting ready to configure the VoIP phone

  • Once the VoIP phone is on and connected.
  • Press the “setup” button 3 times to display on the LCD Screen “Network LAN”
  • The LCD will display “Network” on top and “LAN” below if you need to check “WAN” press the “-Vol” on the keypad to change the selection.
  • After selecting “WAN” press “setup” to show “WAN STATUS” and “setup” again to display the IP address.
  • The VoIP should display “DHCP 192.168.x.x”
  • Proceed to open the Internet Explorer and type the IP address and press enter.

  • You will be prompted for Username/Password
  • Username: admin
  • Password: admin
  • After logging, you can proceed to click on the options

  • Click on “VoIP” and select “SIP Config”
  • Fill up the required info as shown below and remember to click on “Enable Register”
  • Then click on “Apply”

  • On the Left panel click on “Config Manage” and “Save Config” then click on “Save”

  • On the left panel proceed to click on to “Current State” to display the STATUS of your configuration.
  • State should display “Registered” if the phone is configured properly.
